Job summary

iQansoft Ltd in Islamabad is seeking a Solution Architect to lead a small development team while staying hands-on, architecting end-to-end solutions across websites, SaaS and backend systems.

You will mentor, decide on stack and tooling, and work closely with the Technical Project Manager to plan and ship features. The role rewards an outcomes-first mindset and strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development, 10+ years ideal in leadership roles.
• Experience at a known Pakistani software house.
• Active hands-on development with code ownership.
• Strong React and Node.js expertise.
• Experience architecting SaaS-style, multi-tenant, or multi-client web solutions.
• Comfort owning frontend and backend architecture decisions.
• Track record in leading or mentoring developers.
• Outcomes-first mindset; focus on delivered value.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Propose end-to-end solution architecture for new projects across websites, SaaS, and backend systems.
• Stay hands-on as lead developer—coding in React and Node.js.
• Lead and mentor a small development team, setting technical direction and quality bar.
• Make stack, tooling, and system design trade-offs and stand behind those decisions.
• Partner with the Technical Project Manager to scope, estimate, and sequence work.
• Own code review standards and the team’s overall quality and reliability.
• Take ownership of problems beyond your ticket to ship.
