Job summary

iQansoft in Islamabad is seeking a Solution Architect who will also lead the development team. You will propose real technical solutions, stay hands-on to build them, and mentor a small team while writing code yourself.

You will decide on stack and design trade-offs, lead architecture across websites and SaaS-style backends, and maintain high-quality standards through code reviews and collaboration with a Technical Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development incl. leadership in solution architecture.
• Experience at a well-regarded Pakistani software house.
• Continued hands-on development; not only diagrams.
• Strong React and Node.js expertise.
• Experience architecting SaaS/multi-tenant or multi-client web solutions.
• Own frontend and backend architecture decisions.
• Familiar with modern tooling (Sanity, Vercel, Supabase, Cursor, GitHub).
• Track record of leading/mentoring developers.
• Outcomes-first mindset; clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Propose end-to-end solution architecture for new projects and features.
• Stay hands-on as lead developer; write and review production code.
• Lead and mentor a small development team and set technical direction.
• Decide on stack, tooling, and system design trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Technical Project Manager to scope and sequence work.
• Own code review standards and overall technical quality.
• Take ownership of issues beyond a ticket to ensure shipping.
