Job summary

Marbill Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join the Commercial Strategy team. You will own end-to-end financial reconciliation, monitor processing metrics, and manage risk across our global merchant portfolio. This fully remote role works across US, EU and LATAM portfolios.

You will leverage advanced Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools to deliver clear reporting. 5+ years in reconciliation or financial control, strong ownership, and English communication are

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years in reconciliation, financial control or business controlling, preferably in payments or fintech.
• Strong understanding of card payments ecosystem: acquirers, MIDs, settlement cycles, scheme fees, chargebacks and reserves.
• Experience across multiple entities and currencies (USD/EUR).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and large dataset handling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reconciliation across merchant entities including invoices, settlements and bank movements.
• Reconcile chargeback-related costs and credits with partners.
• Track payment plans and flags for overdue or in-transit amounts.
• Run monthly reconciliation close with logs, aging and sign-off.
• Monitor processing costs, refunds and chargebacks, analyze variances to budget/forecast.
• Produce leadership reporting on exposure, recoveries and open issues.
