Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a Punjabi Quality Assurance Lead for an hourly remote contractor role. You will oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Punjabi AI training projects, reviewing AI-generated Punjabi content and trainer/QA work to ensure alignment with project guidelines.

You will assess accuracy, grammar, tone, cultural appropriateness, and meaning preservation, providing precise written feedback and supporting onboarding for remote contributors.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Punjabi proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English language skills to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Punjabi writing, editing, translation, or QA.
• Experience leading remote teams of trainers, annotators, or QAs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and quality-check translations of English science benchmark questions (ARC) in target language.
• Decide on outcome per item and provide brief review comments to preserve meaning and terminology.
