Job summary

World Business Lenders (WBL) seeks an experienced Data Engineer for a contract/consultant role. You will improve data pipelines, migrate legacy systems, and collaborate with analytics teams to ensure reliable data for reporting and decision making.

Candidates should have 4–7 years of data engineering experience and a strong foundation in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and data modeling. Work hours are 9:00 am–6:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, and the role is fully remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4–7 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python; ETL/ELT design and data modeling mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Improve data pipelines through automation with quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Migrate legacy systems to new platforms with minimal disruption.
