Job summary

Extravis Limited seeks an experienced Network Engineer for a permanent remote engagement from Karachi, Pakistan. You will architect, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise networks using Cisco IOS, VLANs, OSPF, and modern monitoring tools.

You will work with cross-functional IT teams to ensure uptime, low latency, and robust security, including DHCP/DNS/NAT services and syslog/NetFlow analysis. Previous CCNA proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Solid Cisco CCNA foundations with VLANs, STP, EtherChannel and OSPF.
• Proficient in DHCP, DNS, NAT/PAT and SNMP management.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, test, and maintain enterprise routing and switching architectures using Cisco IOS CLI.
• Configure VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and OSPF routing protocols and manage core services (DHCP/DNS/NAT).
• Monitor networks with Syslog, NetFlow and SNMP; analyze security telemetry and performance metrics.
• Hardening of network security, ACLs, and firewall configurations for enterprise links.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and project teams; document topology and inventories.
• Test configurations with Linux tools and validate changes before deployment.
