Arcana Info in Islamabad is seeking a highly skilled Network Expert with 5+ years of enterprise networking experience to manage LAN/WAN/WLAN, routers, switches, and firewalls on-site. You will design, deploy, and optimize VLANs, VPN tunnels, and QoS to ensure high availability and secure connectivity, while maintaining up-to-date configurations and inventories.

This role requires hands-on expertise, strong English communication, and a proactive trouble‑shooter mindset to meet strict uptime SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise network administration, routing, switching, and firewall management.
Strong hands‑on LAN/WAN/WLAN administration and wireless network deployment.
Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS mechanisms.
Experience managing enterprise routers, switches, and firewall security policies.

Responsabilités

Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN environments across facilities.
Manage routers, switches, and next‑gen firewalls to ensure secure data transmission.
Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, dynamic routing, VPNs, and QoS policies.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly.
Maintain configurations, backups, IP plans, topologies, and inventories.
Support upgrades, expansions, relocations, and new service implementations.
Monitor security events and coordinate with security teams for incident resolution.
Prepare periodic health and performance reports for management.
