ACCA Careers invites an Associate, Accounts to join the finance team handling AP/AR, journal entries, and month-end close while serving Canadian clients. You will ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with IFRS in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, detail orientation, and timely delivery. Remote-friendly with 6:00 PM–3:00 AM shifts, and exposure to diverse international practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software, with emphasis on Zoho Books.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client and team interaction.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of IFRS.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Able to work independently and remotely in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable with accurate records.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and other accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries in line with policies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain up-to-date records using Zoho Books.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.
• Assist with audits and tax preparations as required.
