Job summary

Edge is expanding into the finance industry and seeks a Senior Accountant to own accounting cycles and financial reporting for assigned entities, including IFRS/US GAAP. This fully remote role partners with global teams and North American clients.

You will manage month-end close, co-ordinate audits, and mentor junior staff while maintaining balance sheet integrity. A Bachelor's in Accounting, US GAAP knowledge, and 2–4 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• ACCA or CA finalist.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting.
• Experience preparing month-end financial reports.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Review complex journal entries and accounting estimates.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Review the work of junior accountants and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
