Job summary

Alibaba Group in Karachi is seeking a finance professional to manage end-to-end FP&A inputs, accounts payable processing, payroll, and intercompany settlements for regional entities.

You will coordinate with HR, Legal, Procurement and FP&A to ensure accurate balance sheets, timely fund settlements, VAT/GST filings and audit support. 4–5 years of experience and MBA/ACCA are required, with strong Excel and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in Finance domain.
• MBA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end FP&A and AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly balance sheets, lead audit cycles, and provide FP&A inputs for holding companies.
• Own end-to-end AP process including invoice posting, verification, bank settlements, and intercompany payments
• Manage accruals, prepayments, working capital requirements, and cash pooling operations
• Execute payroll disbursements and manage employee reimbursements across regional entities
• Manage working for VAT/GST filings and transfer pricing
• Handle PR/PO approvals, vendor onboarding, and service agreement reviews
• Internal stakeholder management via work with HR, Legal, Procurement, and FP&A teams to resolve queries and drive process improvements
• External stakeholder management consultant and esp banks for successful and timely fund settlements.
