Job summary

Halan Microfinance Bank is seeking a Settlement & Reconciliation professional to manage end-to-end transaction cycles and ensure accurate financial entries within Pakistan's digital payments landscape, with focus on RAAST and 1-Link.

You will coordinate with 1-Link and SBP, perform daily reconciliations, and generate vouchers and journal entries while maintaining real-time settlement flows across core banking systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field mandatory; Master's preferred.
• Currently in Settlement & Reconciliation role (bank/EMI/microfinance bank) desirable.
• Hands-on experience with RAAST, 1-Link, and RTGS/Clearing processes.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, account entries, and voucher preparation.

Responsibilities

• Settlement Management: Handle daily settlements for RAAST P2P and 1-Link (Paypak, ATM, IBFT, Bill Payments).
• Reconciliation: Daily reconciliation of internal systems with clearing reports (1-Link, SBP RAAST portal).
• Transaction Cycle: Maintain understanding of transaction lifecycle to resolve stuck or failed payments.
• System Knowledge: Use core banking/payment systems to monitor real-time settlement flows.
• Accounting & Vouchers: Prepare accurate accounting entries and generate Bank Payment/Receipt Vouchers and Journal Vouchers.
