Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for small/medium merchants to NRSP Raast P2M QR platform, training on instant payments.
• Achieve monthly merchant targets, transaction counts and value for Raast P2M.
• Manage agent banking network: acquire/activate agents for cash-in/out, bills, transfers; maintain liquidity and commissions.
• Cross-sell Raast P2M QR codes to branchless banking agents; promote merchant engagement via incentives/loyalty programs.
• Own P&L for agent banking and Raast P2M channels; oversee merchant discounts, float income and non-funded income.
• Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns promoting digital payments and adoption.
• Ensure SBP Raast P2M guidelines compliance; oversee KYC, QR issuance standards, limits, dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with IT/finance for timely settlements and reduce transaction failures.
• Serve as business liaison for Raast P2M product enhancements; lead UAT for new features.
• Use data analytics to identify high-potential merchant clusters for targeted field deployment.
• Lead and mentor area managers and merchant relationship officers; train on payment benefits and dispute management.
• Travel extensively to support field teams and ensure adoption in urban/rural markets.

The Assistant Manager will oversee a team of two and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize merchant engagement and transaction volumes, playing a key role in advancing financial inclusion and digital payment solutions across diverse urban and rural markets.The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree with at least five years of relevant experience, including hands-on expertise with Raast P2M or similar QR-based payment systems. They will demonstrate strong capabilities in customer relationship management, data analytics, and operational leadership. Travel to various merchant locations for field management and training is essential, along with leading area managers and merchant relationship officers to achieve acquisition and activation targets. Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for small and medium merchants onto NRSPs Raast P2M QR code payment platform, ensuring merchant adoption and training on instant, cost-free payments.
• Achieve and exceed monthly active merchant targets, transaction counts, and transaction value goals for the Raast P2M solution.
• Manage the agent banking network by driving the acquisition and activation of agents capable of cash-in/out, bill payments, and fund transfer services, ensuring their liquidity and commission structures are properly maintained.
• Cross-sell Raast P2M QR codes to existing branchless banking agents and enhance merchant engagement through tailored incentive and loyalty programs to boost transaction volume.
• Own the profit and loss statement for the agent banking and Raast P2M channels, overseeing revenue streams such as merchant discount rates, float income, and other non-funded income sources.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute consumer campaigns that promote digital payments and increase user adoption at local merchants.
• Ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistans Raast P2M operational guidelines by overseeing merchant KYC, adherence to QR code issuance standards, transaction limits, and dispute resolution.
• Work closely with IT and finance departments to guarantee timely settlement for merchants in accordance with regulatory timelines and reduce transaction failures by coordinating with product and technical teams.
• Serve as the business liaison for Raast P2M product enhancements and lead user acceptance testing for new features, ensuring that merchant and agent portals operate efficiently and meet business needs.
• Apply data analytics tools to identify merchant clusters with high potential, enabling targeted deployment of field teams to maximize acquisition and activation efforts.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of area managers and merchant relationship officers, conducting ongoing training sessions on payment benefits, dispute management, and customer education.
• Travel extensively to support field teams, build strong merchant relationships, troubleshoot operational challenges, and ensure that digital payment solutions are effectively adopted in both urban and rural regions.
