Job summary

Zameen is recruiting an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor for our Lahore project portfolio. The role focuses on meticulous cost estimation, quantity take-offs and cost control for MEP disciplines, ensuring alignment with design and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing BOQs, reviewing specifications, certifying IPCs, and collaborating with design, procurement and site teams to forecast budgets and optimize costs.

Qualifications

• DAE or B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering required.
• 10 years of proven MEP Quantity Surveying experience on large-scale high-rise projects advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify MEP BOQs before tender processes.
• Take-off quantities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Estimate project costs for MEP disciplines.
• Review MEP specifications vs design drawings and standards.
• Evaluate and certify IPCs in line with drawings and site progress.
• Conduct onsite inspections to validate works and report discrepancies.
• Suggest cost optimization and value engineering for MEP systems.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams for forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure MEP works meet contractual obligations and industry standards.
• Prepare material calculation sheets and material demand as per drawings.

Job description

Position: MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Location: Lahore

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify MEP BOQs (Bills of Quantities) before tender processes.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.Carry out project cost estimation specific to MEP disciplines.
• Review and verify technical specifications of MEP works against design drawings and standards.
• Evaluate and certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), ensuring compliance with approved MEP drawings and site progress.
• Conduct onsite inspections to validate completed works and report discrepancies.
• Provide recommendations for cost optimization and value engineering in MEP systems.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Ensure all MEP works are in line with contractual obligations and industry standards.
• Prepare the material calculation sheets and material demand according to site and Drawings.

Qualification and Experience

• DAE / B-Tech in Mechanical, Electrical,
