Job summary

Namal Education Foundation is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, procurement oversight and contract administration across active construction projects on site in Lahore.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder coordination with site managers and contractors, and the ability to prepare budgets, reports and cost-saving recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and prepare quantity requirements for accurate costing.
• Scrutinize maintenance and material costs; negotiate with contractors for best commercial terms.
• Coordinate with site managers, client contractors, and subcontractors to align project activities.
• Prepare reports, analyses, budgets, risk assessments, and related documentation.
• Advise on cost-saving improvements and emerging construction strategies.
• Monitor material usage and manage procurement to maintain site supply continuity.
• Document design changes and update budgets accordingly in a timely manner.
• Foster relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform other duties as requested by management/Project Director.

Namal Education Foundation is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take ownership of cost management, procurement oversight, and contract administration across active construction projects. The role demands strong analytical capability, site-level engagement, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Review construction plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements to support accurate project costing.

Scrutinize maintenance and material costs; evaluate and negotiate with contractors to secure optimal commercial outcomes.

Liaise effectively with site managers, client contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities.

Prepare comprehensive reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and related project documentation.

Advise managers and clients on cost-saving improvements and emerging strategies within the construction domain.

Monitor material usage and manage procurement to ensure uninterrupted supply chain continuity on site.

Document design changes, assess cost implications, and update project budgets accordingly in a timely manner.

Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Perform any other related duties as assigned or requested by management/Project Director.
