Job summary

ICAP seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant for a Quality Control Reviewer role in Lahore to ensure audits comply with ICAP professional standards. You will conduct QCRs, prepare reports, and attend QA board meetings.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years post-qualification audit experience, with knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, and Corporate Laws, and strong report-writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• ICAP Chartered Accountant with relevant post-qualification audit experience.
• Knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, and Corporate Laws.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the Quality Control Review (QCR) in accordance with established policies and procedures, with the objective of ensuring that firms carry out audits in accordance with the Professional Standards adopted by ICAP.
• Prepare draft QCR reports and invite comments from the firms on the QCR observations.
• Attend meetings of the Quality Assurance Board (QAB) and prepare relevant working papers; and
• Conduct reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with the disclosure requirements of applicable laws and standards.
