Job summary

ICAP is seeking a Chartered Accountant (ICAP member) with at least two years of post-qualification audit experience to conduct Quality Control Reviews in line with ISA/IFRS standards and applicable corporate laws. The role involves preparing QCR reports, gathering comments from firms, and attending QAB meetings to support disclosure compliance.

Strong report writing and communication skills are essential as the candidate will prepare working papers and review financial statements for adherence

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with ICAP membership and 2+ years post-qualification audit experience.
• Practical knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, and Corporate Laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the Quality Control Review (QCR) in accordance with established policies and procedures, with the objective of ensuring that firms carry out audits in accordance with the Professional Standards adopted by ICAP.
• Prepare draft QCR reports and invite comments from the firms on the QCR observations.
• Attend meetings of the Quality Assurance Board (QAB) and prepare relevant working papers; and
• Conduct reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with the disclosure requirements of applicable laws and standards.
