Job summary

The ICAP invites applications for the role of Manager, Audit Practice Review and Support Program (APRSP) in Lahore. The role leads firm and engagement reviews to ensure audits meet Professional Standards and supports firms to improve quality of work.

Responsibilities include preparing review reports, assisting in committee agenda/minutes, and conducting reviews of financial statements. A Chartered Accountant with ICAP membership and 2+ years PQE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ISAs and IFRS with strong understanding of corporate law requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in quality control reviews of audits and related services.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct firm and engagement reviews to ensure that firms carry out Audit, Assurance & Related services in accordance with the Professional Standards adopted by ICAP and support the firms to improve their quality of work;
• Prepare reports of the reviews conducted and assist in preparation of agenda & minutes of the Committee; and
• Carry out reviews of financial statements or any other task assigned.

Job Specifications

• The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAP member) preferably with 02 years of post-qualification experience including in a professional QCR rated firm of Chartered Accountants.

Skills Required

• Should have practical knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Corporate Laws.
• Possess excellent communication, management and report writing skills.
