Job summary

Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited invites applications for the role of Assistant Engineer Quality Control at Steel Division, Nooriabad, Jamshoro. You will oversee QA/QC operations and ensure compliance with client specifications.

The ideal candidate has a BE in Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgy from a PEC-recognized university with at least 3.0 CGPA and 2–6 years of relevant experience, preferably with ISO/API QMS. Maximum age 32.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical / Industrial and Manufacturing / Metallurgy from PEC recognized university with minimum 3.0 CGPA.
• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with ISO / API QMS.
• Maximum age 32 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve QMS as per API Q1 specification and ISO 9001.
• Supervise inspectors deputed at different inspection stands/stations of the pipe plant and coating plant.
• Manage internal and external Quality Audits.
• Prepare work instructions and ensure product compliance with client specifications/order requirements.
• Coordinate with client representative and third party inspectors for inspecting of pipes.
• Coordinate internally with relevant departments and externally with clients, certification bodies and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Evaluate the training needs for the Quality staff.
• Deliver relevant Quality-focused training to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure good house keeping and safe working environment at QC stations.
• Analyze and evaluate Quality efficiencies (rate of rejection/rate of acceptance).
• Prepare and monitor annual QA/QC expense budget.
