Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality excellence across multi-disciplinary project activities. You will manage all QA/QC activities, develop procedures aligned with ISO 9001, and conduct comprehensive inspections throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of QA/QC experience in relevant fields and a strong knowledge of quality management systems. The role is based in Karachi, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in electrical, instrumentation, and civil interface works.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and applicable international standards.
• Proven experience in inspections, testing, commissioning, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Manage all QA/QC activities including QA/QC Plans, ITPs, material receiving, inspections, and final handover.
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures aligned with ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections at all stages including material receipt, installation, pre-commissioning, and completion.
• Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation including method statements, inspection records, and handover dossiers.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to address quality issues.
