Job summary

muSharp is seeking a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to own testing for an enterprise wealth management and investment platform, including CRM, deal pipeline, and AI assistant capabilities, built from connected web applications and REST APIs. The role emphasizes hands‑on testing across manual and automated domains to ensure coverage, reliability, and release readiness.

The position is full‑time, located in Lahore (OPF Society) with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Solid STLC knowledge and test design, including coverage, edge cases, negative tests, and role/permission matrices.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, monkey, and stress testing.
• API automation using Postman / Newman, REST Assured, or similar.
• UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Load testing using JMeter or similar.
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, or similar, and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Define the test strategy and plan for each release, following the STLC (requirement analysis, planning, test case design, execution, and closure).
• Functional Testing: Full test case coverage of a single feature, including positive, negative, and edge cases.
• Integration Testing: End‑to‑end flows across features and connected applications, including data sync.
• Regression, Smoke & Monkey Testing: Perform testing before every release.
• Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress tests using JMeter (or similar) and report bottlenecks.
• Automation: Develop automated API tests and UI tests for critical paths and run them in CI.
• Test sign‑in and access controls, including Microsoft SSO, roles, permissions, and record visibility.
• Manage test cases, test runs, and coverage in a test management tool.
• Log reproducible bugs, verify fixes, and sign off releases.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of authentication, including sessions, JWT, and SSO redirects.
• SQL for data validation and checks.

• FinTech or wealth‑management domain experience.
