Job summary

Translation Empire is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern in Pakistan to join the team. The role focuses on ensuring quality and performance of applications, identifying defects, and documenting issues before deployment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, familiarity with BrowserStack or similar, and knowledge of testing methodologies, Agile, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-6 months of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar.
• Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in writing test scripts in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
