Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, interviews, mental status examinations, and risk evaluations for clients with substance use and related mental health concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment goals and contribute to recovery plans in coordination with medical, clinical, and support staff.
• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-informed approaches appropriate for addiction recovery.
• Support relapse-prevention planning, motivation enhancement, emotional regulation, and behavioral change.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records and document assessments, progress, interventions, and discharge recommendations.
• Participate in case reviews, family guidance sessions, psychoeducation activities, and continuing care planning.
• Monitor client progress and communicate significant clinical observations or safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
