MindPlus hospital seeks a Nursing Incharge to oversee the psychiatric ward operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth daily activities. The role provides leadership and support to ward staff while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.

The position involves training, incident investigations, inventory and billing oversight, staffing rosters, and adherence to infection control standards.

Formación

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the psychiatric ward.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and protocols.
• Provide leadership and support to ward staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide ongoing training and professional development for ward staff.
• Identify training needs and arrange classes as required.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and complaints with timely statements.
• Maintain and audit ward inventory with periodic acknowledgment.
• Ensure nursing care is documented accurately reflecting patient experience.
• Supervise daily patient billing as per actual consumption.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with reporting head and shift in-charges.
• Coordinate monthly nursing staff meetings with reporting head.
• Update staff rosters timely and discuss with consultants for staffing ratios.
• Work with consultants to ensure adherence to care protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and prevent hospital-acquired infections.
• Review and update policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote confidentiality and innovations to improve patient care.
• Conduct training classes with evaluations and maintain staff training records.
• Allocate staff across departments and coordinate admissions where needed.
• Assess workload and ensure smooth flow of materials and communication.
• Foster motivation, discipline when required, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure safe ward environment and prevent violence or self-harm.
• Perform regular rounds and address safety hazards.
• Deliver high-quality care in accordance with standards.
