Job summary

HBL People in Karachi seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex technology and financial services initiatives, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.

You will coordinate planning, monitoring, and resource allocation, engage stakeholders across senior management and vendors, and control scope, schedule, and cost while delivering clear metrics and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science, business administration or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, requirements gathering & analysis and technology services and delivery; financial sector exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver program objectives within time, cost and scope constraints.
• Plan, control, monitor, and direct program resources to achieve goals.
• Engage with senior management, technical teams and external vendors to secure support.
• Gather metrics, prepare status and risk reports for stakeholders.

Job description

• Responsible for accomplishing the program objectives within the constraints of the program to deliver timely and within budget projects
• Involved in planning, controlling and monitoring, and also managing and directing the assigned program resources to meet project objectives

Stakeholder Communication

• Efficiently engage in communication with a diverse group of stakeholders, encompassing senior management, technical teams, and external vendors. This interaction aims to foster alignment and secure their support and commitment to the program's goals and objectives.

Triple Constraints

• Controls and monitor Project scope, time and cost (Quality also) in managing competing program requirements to meet requirements within allocated time and cost

Metrics Data & Reporting

• Gather data on metrics like baseline, cost, schedule, work status, and completion to inform stakeholders. This entails analyzing and presenting information in reports (e.g., Status Updates, Risk Reports, Milestone Tracking) for a better grasp of project progress & reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science, business administration or related discipline.

Other Skills & Competence:
