Responsibilities
Summary of Job Profile:
The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and closure of technology projects. The role works closely with Project Managers, technical teams, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project activities are completed on time, within scope, and according to agreed quality standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, trackers, and status reports.
- Coordinate with technical teams, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate project activities.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
- Follow up with responsible team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes of meetings, and circulate action points for follow-up.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, customer communications, sign-off documents, and handover records.
- Support project implementation in line with the approved Project Implementation Plan (PIP).
- Monitor project progress and highlight delays, risks, issues, or resource concerns to the Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing customer status updates, management reports, and project presentations.
- Coordinate project kick-off, review, progress, and closure meetings.
- Support the collection of customer acceptance, project sign-off, and completion documents.
- Ensure project records and trackers are updated in the relevant project management system.
- Support cross-functional coordination between Presales, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and other relevant teams.
- Follow company processes, project management standards, quality requirements, and customer requirements
Requirements
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of project management principles and project life cycle.
- Understanding of project planning, scheduling, task tracking, and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of risk, issue, change, and stakeholder management.
- Understanding of project documentation and governance requirements.
- Basic knowledge of IT, ICT, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, software, or technology projects is preferred.
- Basic awareness of budgeting, purchase orders, invoicing, and project sign-off processes is preferred
Skills
- Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Good follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar tools.

- Ability to work under the guidance of a Project Manager while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential project information.
- Ability to identify delays, risks, and dependencies and elevate them in a timely manner.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required For The Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, operations, IT, ICT, engineering, or customer delivery.
- Experience in technology or engineering project environments will be preferred.
- CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile/Scrum, or similar project management certification is a plus
