As our Project Manager – Business Transformation & Operational Excellence , you’ll lead initiatives that modernize operations, introduce AI-enabled innovation, and drive company-wide process re-engineering. This is a high-visibility role offering a strong growth path for professionals with a background in project management, process improvement, or business transformation who want to expand their impact. Purpose

The Project Manager – Business Transformation & Operational Excellence will lead strategic business, IT, and AI-driven initiatives to modernize operations, streamline processes, and elevate organizational performance.

This role drives cross-functional transformation projects, aligns policies, processes, and execution with corporate goals, and ensures sustainable operational excellence. In this role, you’ll be building foundational systems and have a visible influence in shaping the future of our Lahore operations and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables for initiatives of varying complexity.

Track project health using governance artifacts such as RAID logs, issue tracking, change control boards, and stakeholder registers.

Manage dependencies, risks, and scope changes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives across business and IT domains.

Manage projects involving AI-powered tools, products, and automations, aligning them with business goals and measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with product and tech teams to integrate AI-driven solutions that enhance internal workflows, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Identify opportunities for using AI and data analytics to optimize processes, support decision-making, and automate workflows.

Stay current on emerging AI/ML trends and champion their adoption in both internal operations and customer-facing solutions.

Process Improvement, Transformation & Change Management (Lean Six Sigma Focus)

Lead cross-functional process improvement projects using the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC framework (Define → Measure → Analyze → Improve → Control) to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven, sustainable solutions.

Define clear problem statements, goals, and KPIs , and establish measurable baselines before implementing changes.

Measure and analyze current workflows to uncover root causes and develop improvement plans grounded in data and business impact.

Implement improvements and monitor results through dashboards, cost-benefit analyses, and operational performance metrics.

Control and sustain improvements by institutionalizing process documentation, SOPs, ownership models, and performance tracking mechanisms.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and accountability throughout the organization.

Organizational Structure, Governance & Operational Excellence

Support the transformation of organizational structure, end-to-end process flows, and alignment of company policies and procedures with daily operations.

Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, RACI charts, management protocols, and performance dashboards.

Foster transparency and operational discipline across teams to support scalable growth.

Stakeholder Engagement, Reporting & Data-Driven Insights

Engage with process owners, functional heads, technical teams, and leadership to secure alignment, manage expectations, and facilitate collaboration.

Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and dashboards to executive and mid-level leadership on project status, value realization, risks, and KPIs.

Use data analytics and visualization tools to monitor performance, track metrics, and showcase results clearly and compellingly.

Capture lessons learned, share best practices, and support organization-wide scaling of successful improvements.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification — required.

Minimum 3 years’ experience (5+ preferred) leading business & IT projects across multiple functions.

Hands-on experience with SDLC, Agile/SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional, highly collaborative initiatives involving process owners, multiple departments, and stakeholders.

Demonstrable experience in projects involving AI tools or products (automation, machine learning, analytics).

Strong communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Certifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) — required.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt — preferred.

Additional certifications such as ITIL, Prosci Change Management, or Data Analytics / Visualization are a plus.

Preferred Experience

Experience with business process re-engineering, operational excellence, or transformation in a technology or SaaS environment.

Proficiency with project and process management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence).

Familiarity with AI-enabled project tools, data analytics dashboards (Power BI, Tableau), and process automation.

Experience in change management , driving adoption, managing resistance, and embedding sustainable improvements.
