Job summary

Descon is seeking a project professional to prepare matrix mapping for WBS and OBS, review budgets, and ensure robust document control across shop drawings and submittals.

You will coordinate resources, monitor schedules, manage project HR, enforce QHSE, and drive compliant, timely project execution while controlling costs.

This role requires leadership, risk awareness, and collaboration with admin and warehousing to keep milestones and budgets on track.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Matrix to show split of work into zones / areas and disciplines to define responsibilities.
• Ensure accuracy of shop drawings, submittals and other documents through robust document control.
• Identify environmental, legal and social compliance issues and ensure adherence to donor and regulatory requirements to avoid risks.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment daily; liaise with Admin and Warehousing to ensure efficient resource use on site.
• Monitor progress with reports; implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Organize and manage project human resources in collaboration with HRM and PP&A.
• Oversee project execution per plan and take corrective actions to meet time and budget.
• Lead the team, set objectives, manage performance and provide feedback.
• Recommend policy improvements and implement procedures meeting regulatory and quality standards.
• Own and enforce the QHSE policy to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Comply with QA/QC standards and company procedures.
