Qualifications

• Proficiency in IFRS/local GAAP and project cost accounting.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Pakistan tax compliance and VAT/GST preparation.
• Capability to prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Knowledge of fixed asset management and related accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows.
• Reconcile bank statements and project advances.
• Support budgeting and assistance with cost tracking.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings.

Skills

Professional proficiency in accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAP)

Hands-on experience with accounting software/ERP

Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables

Experience preparing VAT/GST

Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements

Knowledge of fixed assets management

Attention to detail

Good communication

Education

CA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent
