Job summary

AllysAI is seeking a Hands-on AI Technical Lead for Production LLM Systems in Pakistan. You will own architecture, implementation, evaluation and deployment of enterprise AI systems on our platform, while leading engineers and collaborating with client technical teams.

You will design architectures for RAG and multi-agent setups, implement Python services, and build document AI pipelines with robust testing and safety guarantees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production AI systems.
• 2+ years building and operating production LLM or generative AI systems used by real users.
• Strong Python and backend engineering skills with APIs, databases, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, vector search, and agent/tool orchestration.
• Experience deploying systems using Docker, CI/CD, monitoring and secure deployment practices.
• Evidence of leading engineers while contributing code directly.

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture for deterministic workflows, RAG, or multi-agent setups and justify trade-offs.
• Build the system with Python services, APIs, retrieval pipelines, and tool integrations.
• Develop document AI pipelines with OCR, extraction, classification and cross-document validation.
• Own evaluation with test datasets, regression tests, and release criteria.
• Deploy and operate in client-controlled cloud or on-prem environments with monitoring and cost controls.
• Incorporate security by design and enforce data boundaries and access controls.
• Lead delivery by distributing work, reviewing code, and coordinating client handover.
