CodeNinja is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-powered software systems. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, product engineering, and applied AI, with a clear mandate: use AI to materially improve how software is built and what it can do.

This is not a research role; you will focus on practical implementation—building and integrating agentic systems, model-driven workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities directly into production applications,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production system experience.
• Hands-on experience with real agentic AI systems and MCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade AI-powered software systems.
• Develop agentic systems that autonomously select tools and execute multi-step tasks.
• Apply MCP to manage context, tools, memory, and boundaries in production.
• Translate requirements into scalable, reliable, observable AI-enabled implementations.
• Focus on runtime AI behavior, prompts orchestration, model composition, and deployment.
• Maintain versioned, testable AI inputs/outputs and behavior throughout the system.
