vFairs is an all-in-one event management platform with distributed teams and a strong product marketing function. We are seeking a Product Marketer to shape messaging, drive demand, and enable sales and customer success teams.
You will own GTM strategy for product modules, work with product and design to craft compelling value propositions, and lead launch activities. This role emphasizes AI/LLMs usage and data-driven storytelling.
We are seeking a highly articulate Product Marketer to join our marketing team. As a Product Marketer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product's messaging and positioning, driving demand, and enabling our sales and customer success teams.
You'll be part of our product marketing team, owning GTM strategy for specific product modules and launch cycles.
You'll jump into roadmap calls with the product team to understand what's being built and why. Then you'll figure out how to talk about it in a way that makes customers care.
Market research is a big part of this. You'll dig through G2 reviews, listen to customer calls on Gong, stalk competitors, and interview people inside and outside the company to understand what matters.
You'll work on positioning and messaging as the product evolves, thinking about how to articulate what we do to our potential customers in a manner that deeply resonates with them.
You’ll work on customer-facing roadmaps with the design team. You'll also write short, punchy copy for landing pages and work with the web team to get them live and track their performance.
The sales team needs to know how to sell what you're launching. At vFairs, we use AI assets and workflows to train sales teams. You'll update the training docs and own their effectiveness over time. You'll also show up to town halls and sales huddles to walk teams through value props and run live demos.
When something new launches, you own the launch plan. You’ll research what will resonate with the target audience the best, craft the launch activities, request for a budget, and execute. You'll build excitement and make sure the launch actually lands.
You'll work closely with customer success to pull feedback and insights that shape what gets built next. You’ll work with them to explore renewal and expansion possibilities. Track campaigns, analyze performance, report back.
We encourage using AI and LLM tools like Claude to automate web research and build reusable deliverables but pair that with strong human judgement and deep understanding of the customers we serve. You'll also build custom skills and prototypes wherever you can shorten the time from blank page to first draft.
You'll stay in sync with your manager and teammates using Slack Tasks and weekly syncs.
Get deep into the product. Understand our main ICPs and use cases inside and out. Meet the teams you'll work with most (product, sales, customer success, web). Read G2 reviews, talk to internal stakeholders, and study the competition.
Also, learn the channels we work with, the workflows we use, and how to leverage them. These will power the distribution of your work, so it’s critical to have a working understanding of each team’s needs - from social to video to content to web.
Sync with your manager early to align on expectations. You'll also shadow the team and potentially lead a couple of feature launches to get your feet wet.
Start owning a product module or launch cycle. Pair up with a few Product Managers and learn what’s on the release line. Research the product, conduct competitive analysis, create a narrative and build a launch brief. Coordinate your launch activities with peer teams like social, web, ads, and content. Run your first sales enablement session. Take on town hall responsibilities and coordinate with sales and customer success to gather insights and align messaging across teams.
This is where you start leaning into AI automations and LLMs to speed up your workflow as you get comfortable with the rhythm.
Quantify your launches. Show management where things are working and where they're not. Ship a Tier 1 launch and start thinking strategically about how your work ties to bigger business goals. Switch to commercial thinking, work with teams to measure acquisition and adoption funnels, and understand the impact.
