Job summary

Haleon plc. seeks a Process Safety Specialist to develop, implement, and sustain the site’s PSM program.

You will provide technical leadership, risk assessment expertise, and governance to prevent loss‑of‑containment incidents, fires and explosions across operations. You will own training curricula for process safety, lead hazard analyses, and ensure compliance with international standards while collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance to embed safety requirements in all

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field.
• 4–6 years of process safety experience.
• NEBOSH IGC certification and/or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define, own and lead the site’s Process Safety Management program.
• Perform process hazard analyses (PHA) and risk assessments.
• Support Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) and SIL verification.
• Ensure compliance with PSM, COMAH/Seveso, ATEX, DSEAR and other regulations.
• Lead process safety reviews during design, commissioning and startup.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance to embed safety requirements.
