Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Process Engineer to support modular skid packages, wellhead control panels, and pressure regulation systems for oil & gas and utility sectors. You will contribute to safe, efficient operation through front-end and detailed design activities, ensuring rigorous documentation and adherence to industry standards.

The role involves design of process equipment, hydraulic calculations, vendor coordination, and participation in HAZOP/HAZID studies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
2–3 years of design experience in the Oil & Gas sector (brownfield and greenfield).
Proficient in design of process equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, skids).
Familiar with valve sizing (control valves, PRV/PSV) and hydraulic calculations.

Responsibilities

Design process for projects involving pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, separators, process skids, and chemical injection skids.
Work on FEED and Detailed Design for brownfield and greenfield projects.
Prepare design documents such as Basis of Design, PFDs and P&IDs.
Prepare process datasheets for instruments (flow, valves, relief).
Conduct hydraulic calculations for pumps, compressors, line sizing, blowdown.
Support HAZOP/HAZID/PHAs, risk studies.
Manage vendor/subcontractor relationships and inter-discipline coordination.
Participate in bid evaluations, procurement, and project management.
Prepare technical reports and perform dispersion, surge, and dynamic simulations.
