Job summary

Octus is a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics. The Private Credit Analyst will maintain financial models and capital structure data across a growing universe of BDCs and other private credit funds, supporting Octus’s coverage of the private credit market.

The Analyst will possess strong analytical skills and the tenacity to deliver data-heavy outputs on a recurring schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, accounting, or finance.
• Ability to interpret financial statements to evaluate business performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with tenacity to work through complex issues.
• Interest in credit markets or financial markets more broadly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain three-statement financial models for 40–50 BDCs with quarterly reporting.
• Upload and maintain capital structure data.
• Produce portfolio updates aligned to each company’s cadence.
• Track financing activity across the BDC market, including cost of capital and provider details.
• Contribute to private credit coverage used in reports and site content.
