Job summary

FORTEK Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Service Technician for printers repairs and maintenance in Islamabad. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain printers for corporate clients and channel partners, traveling across Pakistan as needed.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with printers or similar IT hardware, a technical diploma, and willingness to pursue OEM certifications. On-site work with a strong focus on documentation and customer service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on printer diagnostics and repair experience.
• Familiarity with printer mechanics and components.
• Basic electronics troubleshooting and safety practices.
• Strong documentation and ticket logging abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Pakistan and single-site facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and set up printers at client sites and channel partners.
• Diagnose hardware faults and perform repairs per OEM guidelines.
• Carry out on-site and workshop maintenance and calibration.
• Test repaired units to ensure quality and reliability.
• Maintain service records and warranty/RMA processing.
• Coordinate with OEM support and ensure compliance with standards.
• Log tickets in ODOO and generate service reports.
• Pursue OEM certifications and maintain inventory of parts.

Education

Diploma/Certificate (DAE) in Electronics, Electrical, IT Hardware, or a related technical trade
