Our client Dekalb Trade Voice is looking for a Production Planning and Control Manager in Sialkot

The Production Planning and Control (PPC) Manager at Dekalb Trade Voice leads and optimizes manufacturing operations within the textile and apparel industry. This position focuses on managing the entire production cycle from material planning and capacity assessment to scheduling and delivery, ensuring that production meets both local and export demands while minimizing operational costs. The manager oversees a team of seven professionals, driving efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the production process.

This role requires strong expertise in developing master production plans, coordinating with procurement and merchandising teams to guarantee timely material availability, and balancing production capacity to optimize resource utilization. The PPC Manager monitors critical production milestones, controls work-in-progress inventories, and prepares detailed performance reports to achieve high on-time and complete delivery rates. Advanced skills in ERP systems, particularly Oracle Material Requirement Planning, and proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive master production plans and detailed weekly and monthly schedules aligned with confirmed orders and demand forecasts.
• Coordinate material resource planning by collaborating with procurement and merchandising teams to ensure the timely supply of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Evaluate factory capacity on a product-by-product basis to allocate resources effectively and balance production lines using capacity requirement planning techniques.
• Manage the Time & Action calendar to monitor and control critical production paths from order receipt through cutting, stitching, finishing, and dispatch stages to avoid bottlenecks.
• Track Work-In-Progress inventory levels to identify and mitigate idle time as well as reduce dead, slow-moving stock and overall inventory holding costs.
• Generate and maintain accurate performance reports and key performance indicators focusing on on-time, in-full delivery adherence and resource utilization metrics.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S Methodology principles to continuously improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workplace organization.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of seven direct reports to build a collaborative environment that supports cross-functional coordination with quality assurance, stores, and sourcing teams.
• Leverage ERP systems, including Oracle Material Requirement Planning, and reporting tools like Power BI to streamline data analysis and decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, promoting safety and quality throughout all manufacturing operations.
