Job summary

Master Plastic Pack Limited, a packaging and flexible printing company in Gujranwala, seeks a Powerhouse Supervisor to oversee reliable operation, monitoring, and routine coordination of the powerhouse and utility systems supporting production.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, coordinating startup/shutdown, monitoring equipment, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety and proper handovers to shift teams.

Qualifications

• Practical experience supervising powerhouse, generator, electrical utility, or industrial power operations.
• Working knowledge of generators, electrical panels, distribution systems, compressors, boilers, and industrial utilities.
• Ability to read operating gauges, interpret load and consumption data, and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for power interruptions, equipment abnormalities, and utility failures.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance coordination, basic electrical safety, lockout procedures, and emergency response.
• Ability to supervise operators, organize shift coverage, and communicate clearly with production and maintenance teams.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with attention to safety, discipline, and continuous uptime.
• Basic computer skills for reports, records, schedules, and inventory or fuel monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily powerhouse operations, equipment status, operating parameters, and utility availability.
• Coordinate startup, shutdown, load management, and operating changes in line with production requirements.
• Monitor generators, electrical distribution, compressors, boilers, and related utility equipment as applicable.
• Record fuel usage, meter readings, operating conditions, breakdowns, and shift activities accurately.
• Identify abnormal conditions, respond to operational issues, and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and contractor activities with the maintenance team.
• Enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, permit requirements, and emergency response practices.
• Guide powerhouse operators, allocate shift duties, and ensure effective handovers and reporting.
