INTECH Automation Intelligence in Lahore is seeking a Project Planner to lead planning, scheduling and progress monitoring for complex Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities and Manufacturing projects.

The role focuses on developing schedules with Primavera P6 and MS Project, applying EVM, creating Power BI dashboards, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in project planning and controls.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project environments with engineering, procurement, and site construction.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules aligned with milestones.
• Perform schedule analysis, forecast completion dates, and variance; monitor progress.
• Develop progress measurement methodologies for engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Support resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules; forecast requirements.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel reports for management.
• Coordinate with PM, Eng, Procurement, Construction, Commercial and stakeholders.

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Project Planner to join our Project Monitoring and Control team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving effective project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. What You’ll Lead and Deliver

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, aligned with contractual milestones, project scope, and execution strategy.
• Perform periodic schedule analysis and forecasting, including milestone variance, float analysis, forecast completion dates, and schedule trends.
• Develop and maintain appropriate progress measurement methodologies, ensuring consistent and objective measurement of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities, as applicable.
• Support development of resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules, including manpower planning, resource utilization, and workload forecasting.
• Integrate schedule, progress, and cost information to support Earned Value Management (EVM), including analysis of SPI, CPI, schedule/cost variance, and forecast performance.
• Prepare and issue weekly and monthly project controls reports, including progress summaries, milestone status, S-curves, schedule variance analysis, key risks, look-ahead activities, and recovery actions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel-based reports to provide management with clear visibility of project performance, trends, and exceptions.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction/Site, Commercial, and other stakeholders to obtain progress updates and maintain an integrated and realistic project schedule.
• Support project teams in identifying schedule risks and developing mitigation, recovery, and catch-up plans where required.
• Review schedule updates for logic integrity, progress accuracy, baseline compliance, and overall schedule quality before periodic reporting.
• Maintain proper records of approved schedules, schedule revisions, progress data, reports, and supporting documentation through SharePoint and other project collaboration platforms.
• Support schedule change control, including assessment and incorporation of approved scope changes and revised execution strategies.
• Participate in project progress meetings and provide planning and schedule-related inputs, analysis, and recommendations.
• Support the continuous improvement of planning, scheduling, progress measurement, reporting, and project controls processes and standards.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling and/or project controls
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary project environment involving engineering, procurement, construction/site execution, and project management functions.
• Proficiency in the following tools: Primavera P6,Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Power BI.
• Strong understanding of project planning techniques, S-Curver, critical path method (CPM), and earned value management (EVM).
• Knowledge of project management standards and project controls best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project performance data and identify emerging issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and schedule integrity.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly in communicating schedule risks and performance trends to project stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities in a structured and deadline-driven environment.
