Role Summary
Own the accuracy and integrity of employee data, payroll, and benefits across the employee lifecycle — from onboarding through final settlement. This role is the custodian of compliance, audit-readiness, and workforce data governance for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Records
- Verify employee master data (CNIC, salary, designation, reporting lines, bank details, dependents, emergency contacts) before activation
- Manage employee setup across HRMS, payroll, medical insurance, provident fund , EOBI, and other benefits platforms
- Ensure contracts, policy acknowledgements, and statutory documents are signed, filed, and audit-ready from day one
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Run monthly payroll (PKR) - salaries, commissions, deductions, taxes, and adjustments - validating commission submissions against approved business logic
- Process salary revisions, promotions, transfers, and increments per approved recommendations
- Administer Provident Fund, EOBI, insurance, OPD, fuel, and other benefit programs: eligibility, enrollment, claims, utilization and annual limits
- Audit benefits data monthly for inactive employees, duplicate enrollments, or coverage gaps; reconcile vendor invoices for billing accuracy
Compliance & Workforce Insights
- Maintain audit readiness for internal/external audits and due diligence
- Ensure compliance with labor law, taxation, EOBI, and company policy; build controls to reduce payroll and documentation errors
- Manage vendor contracts, renewals, and payment validation
- Track workforce metrics (attrition, headcount, comp trends, payroll fluctuations) and benchmark compensation to support pay structures and workforce planning
Offboarding & Final Settlement
- Manage end-to-end offboarding in line with policy and law, maintaining complete exit documentation (approvals, warnings, PIPs, disciplinary records)
- Process final settlements: commissions, recoveries, leave encashment, notice period adjustments, statutory dues
- Ensure timely removal from payroll, insurance, PF, EOBI, and all systems, with a clean audit trail
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-4 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations, ideally in a mid-to-large sized organization
- Hands-on experience with an HRMS platform and payroll systems
- Solid understanding of Pakistan labor law, EOBI regulations, provident fund administration, and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience managing benefits administration (health insurance, OPD, life insurance, fuel benefits)
- Strong command of Excel for data reconciliation, audits, and reporting
- High attention to detail, given the volume of sensitive employee and financial data involved
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines (monthly payroll cycles, audits, vendor reconciliations) with minimal errors
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across HR, Finance, and third-party vendors
- Discretion in handling confidential employee and compensation data
