Job summary

GulfDesign UAE is seeking a part-time Preservation Architect in Gujrat, Pakistan. You will preserve and restore historic buildings, coordinate with clients, contractors and fellow architects to deliver preserved sites on schedule.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, at least 2 years' experience in preservation, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. Visa sponsorship may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Preservation Architect.
• Strong knowledge of historical preservation guidelines, regulations, and techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and assessments of historic buildings to determine preservation needs.
• Develop preservation plans and proposals for clients.
• Oversee restoration projects with contractors and other architects.
• Ensure compliance with preservation guidelines and regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on building conditions.
• Research historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques.
• Provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance of preserved buildings.
