OasisConstruct UAE is seeking a Heritage Preservation Architect for Gujrat, Pakistan. This part-time role focuses on preserving and restoring historic structures, with a passion for cultural heritage and a strong architectural background and 5+ years of experience.

You will conduct site surveys, develop restoration plans, coordinate with authorities and stakeholders, manage budgets and timelines, oversee restoration work, and stay updated on preservation laws and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or historic preservation.
• 5+ years of preservation experience.
• Knowledge of Gujrat's local history and architecture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects part-time.
• Willingness to work part-time and travel if needed.

Preservation Architect vacancy in Gujrat Pakistan

Heritage Preservation Architect

The Heritage Preservation Architect will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical structures and sites in the city of Gujrat. This part-time position requires a highly experienced individual with a passion for preserving cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture, historic preservation, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience working on preservation projects.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site surveys and assessments to identify areas in need of preservation
• Developing plans for restoration and conservation of historical structures
• Collaborating with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure preservation efforts align with their goals
• Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources
• Overseeing construction and restoration work to ensure it meets preservation standards
• Conducting research on historical structures and utilizing best practices for preservation
• Keeping up-to-date with laws, regulations, and standards related to historic preservation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Historic Preservation or related field (Master's preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience working on preservation projects
• Knowledge of local history and architectural styles in Gujrat
• Strong understanding of building materials, techniques, and conservation methods
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed
