Job summary

Indus Hospital is seeking a Head Nurse (Obs & Gyne) in Nursing Services to lead clinical rounds with physicians, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires at least five years of nursing experience and two years in a supervisory position, with BSCN or equivalent qualification.

The successful candidate will manage resources, collaborate with clinicians, and maintain HMIS documentation while upholding hospital standards and policies.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience as In-Charge/Team Lead.
• Education: BSCN/Post RN/MSCN as required.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily rounds with physicians and Assistant Manager to monitor patient care and environment.
• Reviews nursing documentation of patient care in delegated areas.
• Ensures satisfaction of all admitted and discharged patients.
• Responds quickly in conflict or crisis in patient care areas; discusses patient management and staff performance.
• Meets with patients and families to resolve complaints related to nursing care.
• Assigns nursing staff according to patient care needs and staff development.
