Job summary

CTO Recruiter is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive client acquisition from Upwork and other channels, working on Night Shift in Karachi. The role focuses on identifying quality projects, writing compelling proposals, and converting leads into long-term clients.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of sales experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Upwork dynamics, connects boosts, and proposal strategies to close deals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience with proven client acquisition skills.
• Experience handling USA & Canada Upwork profiles.
• Strong chat and email handling, call handling and client management.
• Understanding of Upwork connects, boosts, and proposal strategy.
• Ability to write customized, high-converting proposals.
• Good understanding of digital services and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify relevant jobs/leads on Upwork daily, maintaining a healthy pipeline.
• Coordinate discovery calls, prepare agendas, capture requirements and follow up.
• Collaborate with delivery/technical teams on solutions, estimates and milestones.
• Negotiate terms within defined guardrails and support contract finalization.
• Consistently meet/exceed daily, weekly, and monthly bidding/closure goals.
• Assist the lead generation team to boost the sales.
