Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive network engineering/management experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access points.
• Ensure network security, compliance, and adherence to banking regulations and standards.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
• Plan capacity, upgrades, and migration projects; maintain network documentation and SOPs.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network architecture, security, and operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across all banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Manage and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access points.
• Ensure network security, compliance, and adherence to banking industry regulations and standards.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute network capacity planning, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships for network hardware, software, and service providers.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (Security, Infrastructure, Applications) to support business objectives.
• Implement and manage network monitoring tools and ensure 24/7 network availability.
• Drive disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network services.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in network engineering/management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in Cisco routing & switching (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR series).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Proficiency in network protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN (IPSec/SSL).
• Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud networking (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of network security frameworks, NAC, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime, or similar).
• Familiarity with load balancing technologies (F5, Citrix ADC).
• Understanding of VoIP/UC technologies and wireless networking (Cisco WLC/Meraki).

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE certification (an added advantage).
• Experience in multi-country banking network environments.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance for financial institutions.
• Experience managing network infrastructure in hybrid cloud environments.
• ITIL certification or familiarity with ITSM frameworks.
