Job summary

Advanced Asset Management (AAM Living) seeks a Multifamily Property Compliance Associate to support compliance-based decision-making and operational performance across its portfolio. The role focuses on annual certifications, file audits, and ensuring adherence to LIHTC, HOME, Section 8, and local housing programs.

Candidates should have 2+ years in affordable housing compliance and hands-on experience with property management software such as Entrata.

Qualifications

2+ years of Affordable housing compliance experience, including LIHTC, BONDS, HOME, Section 8 and local city programs.
Property management software experience required; Entrata experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Track annual recertifications and ensure files are completed at least 30 days prior to effective date.
Audit move-in and annual recertification packets for funding regulations compliance.
Review compliance information in Entrata/Yardi/RentCafe and generate tenant income certifications.
Verify signatures for move-ins and annual recertifications.
Audit digital resident files to ensure completeness for 3rd party audits.
Develop relationships with compliance and property management to support housing programs.
Prepare compliance reports for Director of Compliance / Director of Operations.
Assist with lease-up activities and training of site management and leasing staff.
Coordinate with 3rd party compliance processors and assist with year-end reporting.
