The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Pakistan's Punjab region seeks an MIS Officer for a UNICEF-funded nutrition project in Multan. You will manage data from OTP and outreach teams, entering it into the MIS system or Excel, and support data analysis and dashboard development.
You will collaborate with field teams and the MEAL unit, ensuring data quality, confidentiality, and timely reporting under the supervision of the Program Coordinator in Multan and the MIS Manager in Islamabad.

The International Rescue Committee is initiating a short-term nutrition focused project funded by UNICEF. The initial duration of the project is 4 months with possible further extension. The project will contribute to improving the nutrition service delivery and outreach in seven districts of Punjab province. The MIS Officer will be responsible for day-to-day management of program information for the nutrition project, including receiving data in soft form from Outpatient Therapeutic Programme (OTP) and outreach teams and entering it into the given data management system i.e. CommCare or an Excel based system. The role will support data analysis, development of Program Indicator Dashboard (PID), and coordination with field teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow. The MIS Officer will report to the Program Coordinator in Multan, with a technical reporting line to the MIS Manager in Islamabad.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Any certification or diploma in MIS will be valued.
Minimum 2-3 years work experience with an INGO or in offices. At least 2 years of experience in data management, data entry, or database related work, preferably in the NGO sector. Good knowledge of data collection tools such as KOBO and visualization tools such as Power BI preferred.
Position Reports to Program Coordinator at Multan and closely coordinates with the MEAL team and OTP and Outreach teams. The position technically seeks support from the MIS and MEAL leadership at country office.
