Job summary
Translation Empire is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in a hands-on role. You will perform manual and automated testing to ensure quality and performance of our applications, identify defects, and resolve issues before deployment.
You will design test plans, execute tests, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to improve testability and reduce risk.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
- 2–4+ years in software testing and QA.
- Experience with cross-browser testing tools.
- Knowledge of load and performance testing tools.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and API testing.
- Proficiency in Java/JavaScript/Python for test scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, plans and scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Conduct cross-browser testing for compatibility.
- Perform load and performance testing for stability.
- Develop and maintain automated tests with Selenium/Cypress/Playwright.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality.
- Participate in requirements analysis and assess testability.
- Maintain test environments and data management.
- Stay updated with latest testing trends and tools.
