Job summary

Brickstech is seeking a detail-oriented SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our applications through comprehensive testing practices. The role emphasizes manual testing across web and mobile platforms.

You will design test plans and cases, execute tests, report defects, and collaborate with developers and product managers to improve product quality and user experience. 2–5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree are expected, with familiarity in Jira,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or similar role.
Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Experience with cross-device and cross-platform testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements.
Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Participate in requirement reviews to provide early feedback and ensure testability.
Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before release.
Ensure applications meet user experience and performance expectations.
Maintain accurate test documentation and reports.
