Job summary

Translation Empire is seeking a QA Executive with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing. You will develop and execute test plans, perform functional and regression testing, and track defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality in a dynamic environment. DHA Sector F Rwp is the location, with a 10am-7pm shift and office-based work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail) and their application.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Validate bug fixes and execute re-tests to ensure issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to established QA methodologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
