Job summary

Inspire Pakistan is seeking a Senior MHPSS Officer to support non-clinical mental health and psychosocial support activities within the Protection unit at the Regional Office in Peshawar. You will lead group sessions, awareness activities, and referrals, coordinating with Mental Health Officers and community teams to integrate MHPSS services and strengthen coping, resilience and social support networks.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Psychology or Social Work, with 1–2 years’ experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in psychosocial support or community mental health.
• Training in PFA and group facilitation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based, non-clinical psychosocial support to individuals, families, and communities.
• Facilitate structured psychosocial support sessions, including group sessions and peer support groups.
• Provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) and emotional support as required.
• Coordinate with Protection teams to integrate MHPSS services within programmes.
• Maintain records of sessions, referrals, and community outreach.
